SSWCA hosts a national conference for secondary school tutors and directors each March.  From 2012-2018, our conference was held in the D.C. metro area where we welcomed nearly 500 participants from all over America each year. In 2020, 2021, and 2022, our conference was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, our virtual conference welcomed over 670 participants, making it our largest conference to date. In 2022, we switched to a synchronous online conference with follow-up asynchronous content. Starting in 2023, we began to hold hybrid in-person and virtual conferences.  To provide access to schools across the country, we began hosting conferences outside of the D.C. metro area in 2024 (Boston, MA) and 2025 (Provo, UT). As SSWCA strives to achieve our mission, we seek to meet the needs of our growing membership and to highlight the amazing work being done around the country.
